Tom
Weil
is an expert card cheat and con-artisté incorporating
“impeccable” sleight of hand and psychology to make
what looks like real magic.
Tom's abilities have been honed from
a combination of methods used by crooked gamblers and a strong
use of psychological suggestion techniques.
Quite at school, Tom was able
to observe others and developed his psychological knowledge
in order to pull scams and cons on his contemporaries. Whilst
his spelling didn't improve he got very good at winning at the
poker games he ran.
Tom has had the pleasure of performing for many prestigious
events and groups including being the first to perform in the
first ever York Magic Festival (2006) live on BBC Radio York
and for the British Army in 2007. Also in 2006 he performed
Russian Roulette Live on-stage, prime-time at Woodstock Music
Festival.
He has performed at events across Europe (Germany, Sweden, Finland,
Denmark, France, Austria) including music festivals, private
parties, weddings, nightclubs, restaurant and corporate dinners.
Tom is currently working as an authority on cons/ crooked gambling
and cheating methods for some of the country's top casinos.
Over the last year Tom is filming ‘Mind Games’
a DVD showcasing an edgy and powerful display of psychological
illusion and Mentalism. It will be available to purchase later
this year.
He also works as a Composer, Pianist
and Drummer and is a director of Syllabus
Music, the online management platform for student musicians.
Chance - the street opera conceived and written
by Tom, Premiered on 12th May 2007 in York UK. From more

Tom is a member of the Magic Circle
and a core committee member of the Underground Magic Circle
(UMC).
